WIN A CHURCH VOLUNTEER CENTRAL SHIRT! With more than 400 ministry descriptions available for download in the Tools section of our Web site, we thought we’d covered everything. Then a member told us his church had a position for which we didn’t have a description:  The church has a cemetery on its property, and every spring after the snow and rain softens the ground, a volunteer goes out and makes sure every tombstone is perfectly straight. He noted that we didn’t have a ministry description for Tombstone Straightener!
That got us wondering what other positions we might have overlooked, so we decided to ask for your help. Go to the Ministry Descriptions section of our Web site and browse through the positions we have there. If your church has a position we don’t have listed, send us the description by July 16 and we’ll enter you into a drawing for a free Church Volunteer Central shirt. We’ll add the descriptions we receive to the Web site, and the winner will be highlighted in next month’s issue. |
